Cox Facilities

The Cox School of Business is housed in four buildings located in the center of the SMU campus. All of the Cox buildings are wireless, and have been recently renovated.

The two primary classroom buildings are the Cary T. Maguire and Trammel Crow buildings. Maguire is the home of the undergraduate program, and houses the Business Leadership Institute, classrooms, group study rooms, and the BBA Admissions, Career Services, and Advising offices. The Business Information Center, the Cox school's library and computer laboratory, is also located in the Maguire building. It provides academic research assistance to students through its professional library staff and the over 140 databases available for student use. The Trammel Crow building has additional classrooms, group study rooms, and faculty offices. Both buildings were extensively renovated in 2005.

The Joseph W. Fincher Building holds additional study rooms, administrative and faculty offices, and the Ernst & Young Gallery, where many speaker programs and special events are held. The Fincher building was also renovated in 2005. Einstein’s Bagels, which is located in the basement connecting the Maguire, Crow, and Fincher buildings, gives students an easy location to meet with other students and faculty for a cup of coffee while watching the action on Wall Street via a twenty-foot electronic ticker.

The James M. Collins Executive Education Center is home of the Cox Executive Education programs and EMBA program. This building was completed in 2005. Within this building are the Hillcrest Commons Area and Crum Auditorium, where students learn from corporate executives during the popular Business Leaders Spotlight programs.
