Business Associates Program:
A Corporate Mentoring Experience for BBA Students
The Business Associates Program (BAP) connects business majors with influential members of the Dallas-area business community through a personal, one-on-one mentoring relationship. This enriching program greatly enhances the collegiate experience by providing first hand insight into the business world from those who know it best.
Business majors can participate in BAP during the junior or senior year. Participants might sit in on meetings with senior executives as they grapple with the challenges facing their company, spend a day shadowing an executive, or attend a meeting of a professional society. In general, the program provides extensive networking opportunities while showing students the application of business theory in the context of real-world situations.
What makes the Business Associates Program so special is its virtually unlimited potential. Students and mentors take away from the program what they are willing to put into it. An effective student-mentor relationship is an excellent way to advance your career by enhancing your business skills and expanding your business contacts.
