Professional MBA Program Curriculum

SMU Cox is one of a select group of business schools that offers concentrations in its MBA program for working professionals with evening and Saturday classes.. Students may concentrate in one of nine areas of specialization, as well as pursue less time-intensive minors, for a truly customized academic experience. Rather than a rigid, fixed curriculum, you will take 13 or more elective courses in your chosen area(s) of concentration.

Class Days

Core Classes: Thursday evenings, 6:30pm - 9:20pm, and Saturday morning, 9:00am - 11:50am (Core classes are taken during the first 5 Modules)

Elective Classes: Twice weekly; Elective courses are typically scheduled on Monday - Thursday evenings, 6:30pm - 9:20pm. Class days for individual students will vary depending on selected concentration and courses offered each semester.
