Texas Required Ethics Class

To be eligible to sit for the CPA Examination in the state of Texas, a three credit-hour board-approved ethics course must be taken. This requirement can be met at SMU Cox by having taken ACCT 3391 as an SMU Cox undergraduate student or by taking as electives within the MSA Program both of the following courses:
