BBA Major in Marketing

MBA Marketing Curriculum

At Cox-Marketing, our curriculum is designed to provide the right blend of breadth and depth in many different functions of marketing so that students are in the best position to obtain jobs in the field of their choice.  Our curriculum has been significantly revised recently and is one of the few MBA marketing programs in the U.S. with a hierarchical, structured curriculum.
The starting point is MKTG6201 – Marketing Management. This core course is the best point to find out if marketing is right for the students. Those who major in marketing will then take three foundation courses to equip them with basic concepts, tools, and procedures.  Then they can take at least two of four functional courses related to the 4 P’s of marketing – Product, Price, Place, and Promotion.  Students then have a range of elective courses to choose from to cater to their specific interests and career pursuits.
