• Why did you choose to attend the Cox School?

I chose Cox for its excellence, reputation, ranking, quality, capacity of innovation for having new ideas, creative teaching, flexibility of the program, location of the university, ability to combine academic courses with the professional experience and to grow professionally and personally. And finally I think Cox is a School that most companies prefer.

• How has the Cox EMBA Program helped you to achieve your career goals?

The Cox Executive MBA program increased my level of confidence on my job and I learn as much from the experience and insights of other students and faculty. I have benefited from the topics taught in the class, business problems and opportunities from leadership perspective.

• What advice would you give to candidates considering the Cox Executive MBA Program?

If you have the support of your family and your company, go for it! Both are critical to your success. I was out of commission on the family front for 12 months. Fortunately, my husband attended the informational sessions alongside me so he knew what we were both getting into. He and our children often complimented me about my achievements in the program and tell me how proud they are of me. As for the Job, having support from my manager, my peers, and my subordinates gives me the confidence and the strength to persevere as I juggle the dueling requirements of work and school.

• Please add anything else that is unique to your Cox Executive MBA experience.

The Cox Executive MBA gave me the confidence to follow my dreams and passions, besides expanding my contacts during the modules; I have also networked with top executives in the relaxed and stress free environment, during numerous extra curriculum events. A powerful alliance and life-long camaraderie for most participants means a return of invested time and money even before the program is completed.
