• Why did you decide to attend SMU Cox?

I knew I loved math and business and the Cox school of business has a great reputation. 

• Where have you worked or interned while at SMU? 

I am currently interning at Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management in Dallas and I am loving it. In preparation for spring interviews, I took as many finance courses as possible. I found during the interviews how great my finance courses were, as I felt very confident in my answers and very knowledgeable with the subject. The finance classes are a great preparation.

• Would you recommend SMU and Cox to prospective students?

Most definitely. If you are interested in business, or think you might be interested, you should take a few classes to check it out. The material is interesting to learn and will help in whatever field you want to go into in the future.

• Who is your favorite Cox professor, and why?

Qin Lei is a great finance professor. He makes himself very accessible to the students and provides great resources for the students to succeed. 

• What do you plan to do after graduation?

I love finance and I want to be in the finance industry but I cannot narrow it down to a specific job yet. I love Goldman Sachs and I would love to stay within the firm.
