• Why did you choose to attend the Cox School?

I chose SMU Cox because it is one of the top business schools in the world and it has the highest Executive MBA ranking in Texas. I have over 8 years of professional experience and I wanted to attend a program where the students also had a comparable amount of professional experience. After visiting a class session I knew that SMU was right for me.

This program has helped me achieve my career goals by instilling a greater sense of confidence in my ability to make and propose good business decisions. Since joining this program, I have been recognized for my leadership and have been given the responsibility to lead several major company initiatives. The knowledge I have gained from the SMU Cox program has equipped me with the tools I needed to drive those initiatives to a successful conclusion; as well as prepared me to continue to advance in my career.

• What advice would you give to candidates considering the Cox Executive MBA Program?

If you are looking for a highly respected and rewarding Executive MBA program then look no further. The program is very intensive and will require hard work and time management. Before applying for this or any other program, schedule a class visit so you can get a feel for the class room environment. I visited many different programs in the area and found that the level of professional experience of the Executive MBA Cox students and the class environment, offered me the best learning and networking experience.

You will appreciate the program structure and how each course augments or builds upon other courses you are taking or have taken. The quality of the professors and the high-tech facilities are outstanding. All classes are video recorded and made available to the students. I found it invaluable to have access to videos when I needed additional review. I am extremely happy I chose SMU Cox and I am sure you will be also.
