With graduates of Wharton, Stanford, University of Chicago, Harvard Business School and other top-ranked institutions, the SMU Cox faculty today is one of the very best in the world.
- The SMU Cox faculty is ranked among the top 30 business schools in the world for research productivity in economics, finance, information systems, marketing and strategy, according to a recent study by Academic Assessment Services (AAS). Only six other U.S. business schools rank in the top 30 in all five categories.

Cox professors do more than teach the latest business trends and topics. They influence the direction of business through cutting-edge research on wide ranging topics, including the effects of terrorism on global capital markets, the evolution of the four-generation workplace, new compensation models for the health care industry and the collateral value of fine art.
