Bruce Bullock, director of the Maguire Energy Institute, has more than 25 years experience in the energy industry, addressing marketing, policy, and management issues. Prior to joining the Cox School, Bullock served as director of Corporate Communications for FMC Technologies, Inc., a leading global supplier of technology solutions for the energy industry and other industrial markets in Houston Texas. Bernard “Bud” Weinstein, associate director of the Maguire Energy Institute, and adjunct professor of business economics, has research and policy experience in fossil fuels, nuclear and renewable energy. He has worked with national governments and private firms engaged in international commerce, and he recently completed an assessment of the costs and benefits of the North American Free Trade Agreement, which celebrates its 15th anniversary this year. In recent years, he has participated in economic development projects in China, India, Thailand and Mexico. James Smith, the Cary M. Maguire Chair in Oil and Gas Management, specializes in both economics and energy. Smith is an expert in microeconomic theory, managerial economics, and energy economics and policy.
