• Why did you decide to attend SMU Cox?

I choose to attend the Cox School of Business because of its strong history of excellence in educating students and pointing them towards great career opportunities nationwide.  The smaller class size and engaged professors at SMU provides for a more personal learning experience.

• Have you studied abroad?

I studied abroad this past summer. I chose Paris, France for my study abroad experience in part because it gave me the opportunity to experience cultural formations classes held in the Louvre Museum and a former French castle. It also provided me the opportunity to live in one of the world's great cities and travel throughout France. Studying abroad is one of the most important and personal learning experiences for which any person could hope. Learning to get around in a foreign country, seeing priceless works of art and history every day is an amazing opportunity.

• Why would you recommend SMU and Cox to prospective students?

I would recommend SMU and especially the Cox School of Business because it is clear that faculty and administration make the students' learning experience in class and on campus is a top priority.

• Who is your favorite Cox professor, and why?

Professor Robbins, my intro to Accounting Professor, he brought real life C.P.A. experience and a good lecturing style to the classroom.

• What do you plan to do after graduation?

After graduation I hope to work for a few years in a field where I can utilize my business and engineering training before returning to school to obtain a masters degree and explore future career options.
