Frank Pitts Oil & Gas Lectures

Run by the Maguire Energy Institute at SMU Cox and made possible by funding from the Frank Pitts Family, the Frank Pitts Oil and Gas Lecture Series is committed to educating members of the academic community as well as the general public on important energy issues. Recent speakers have included Christine Hansen, executive director of the Interstate Oil and Gas Compact Commission (IOGCC); Roy M. Huffington, chairman and CEO of Roy M. Huffington, Inc., an independent, international oil and gas company located in Houston, Texas; William J. Murray, chair of the Energy Reliability Council; and Dr. Jay B. Weidler, an offshore consultant to Kellogg Brown & Root.
