Endowed Faculty Position #52062 in Finance

The Department of Finance in the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University is seeking candidates for the Phyllis Gough Huffington Chair in Finance. The position begins in 2015.  Hiring is contingent on the satisfactory completion of a background check.


Minimum qualifications: (a) Ph.D. in Finance or a related field, (b) Strong publications record in the top finance and economics journals and a national reputation for high quality research, and (c) Demonstrated record of high quality teaching.


Applicants should provide a curriculum vitae, examples of written work, three letters of reference, and evidence of teaching effectiveness. To ensure full consideration for the position, the application must be received by February 14, 2015.
