Roycee Kerr, Director

Roycee joined the Cox Career Services team in 2007 bringing more than 20 years experience in corporate HR, recruiting and consulting. As a partner with St. Charles Consulting Group’s Dallas office Roycee consulted with Fortune 500 and 1000 companies helping them craft innovative and successful recruiting and employee retention strategies. Prior to this role, Roycee was with Arthur Andersen in a global HR role where she was a key architect of the firm’s approach to recruiting and assessing experienced and campus hires. Early in her career, Roycee was a manager in Andersen Consulting’s (now Accenture) change management practice. Roycee looks forward to helping students learn life-long career management skills and giving them an employer’s perspective for marketing their skills and talents.

Corinda Fellers, Career Counselor

Corinda has a Master of Arts in Professional Development, Counseling Concentration, from Dallas Baptist University. She began her career in the wholesale industry and transitioned into a higher education career as a recruiter and academic advisor. She has been a career counselor for business students at SMU since 2003 and holds membership with the SouthernAssociation of Colleges and Employers, SoACE, and the National Career Development Assocation, NCDA. Corinda received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Baylor University, and she enjoys combining her business education and experience with her interest in counseling students.

Mandelin Meehling, Assistant Director

Mandelin  has a Bachelor in Human and Consumer Sciences degree from Ohio University. After working in the non-profit field she decided to continue her education at Ohio University and obtain a Masters in Education for Community and Rehabilitation Counseling. After providing counseling to undergraduate students at Ohio University, she relocated to Dallas to continue her work in higher education. Mandelin worked as a Graduate Advisor and part-time instructor at a Dallas community college before joining Cox BBA Career Services in July of 2007. She currently holds membership with the Southern Association of Colleges and Employers, SoACE. As well as National Career Development Association, NCDA. She is also a member of the Dallas Junior Chamber of Commerce.

Reid comes to Cox BBA Career Services from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, GA where she served undergraduate students, graduate students, and alumni as a career counselor. In May 2008 she obtained a Master of Science in Professional Counseling from Georgia State University. Prior to graduate school Reid worked in the recruiting industry where she assisted corporations with their hiring needs and helped individuals obtain accounting and finance opportunities. Her early career was spent in commercial banking, specifically working in private banking with high net worth entrepreneurs. Reid is excited to be at SMU and have the chance to utilize her previous work experience, her training in professional counseling, and her career counseling experience to support students in discovering and carrying out their professional goals.

Jill joined SMU in 2003 and serves as the administrative assistant for both BBA Career Services and BBA Admissions. She offers a friendly welcome and helpful information to all who visit our office. Jill is the proud mom of three boys and one daughter (3 in college) and she loves her tthree cats which are proudly displayed on her desk!
