Selecting Photos

In order to help you better select photos for your web pages, the Cox Web Team has come up with a set of guidelines to help you determine what is a good photo and what is not a good photo for web use.

We strongly recommend that you refer to these guildelines whenever you are making photo and image selections for the web site.

Please keep in mind that all technical considerations aside, the content of the photo is a major determining factor in suitablity. Consider carefully how the people in the photo are dressed, what they appear to be doing, and what is in the background of the photo.
