BIC Instruction Page

The BIC Staff is very interested in working with faculty and students in using the BIC information resources in their academic pursuits. We can provide one-on-one orientation to individual students or small groups, perform class-related workshops by meeting with an entire class to introduce the information resources that are most pertinent to that course, or we can provide instruction in the use of particular sources in a workshop setting.

Orientation

Students gain an overview of the Business Information Center and what information resources are available.

Course-related Workshops

Students learn how to use a set of information resources related to a specific subject course with appropriate examples or hands-on experience. Register Online (Requests are made by Faculty.)

Special Workshops

Students learn to master a set of specific information skills, focusing on one specific information resource or information resources related to a field of  study. Register Online
