"The HR Value Proposition"
This year’s retreat will feature Dave Ulrich of the University of Michigan as keynote speaker. Dave will discuss "The HR Value Proposition." He is both a Professor of Business at the University of Michigan and a partner at the RBL Group, a consulting firm focused on helping organizations and leaders deliver value.

He studies how organizations build capabilities of speed, learning, collaboration, accountability, talent, and leadership through leveraging human resources. He has helped generate award winning data bases that assess alignment between strategies, human resource practices and HR competencies. And in his spare time, Dave has published twelve books and more than 100 articles, and he has consulted for over half of the Fortune 200.

The retreat format will include an interactive, keynote presentation on Friday morning followed by a workshop on Friday afternoon. The Saturday morning workshop will build on the Friday presentation. It is designed to enable attendees to apply concepts presented on Friday in their specific situations. We’ll wrap by noon Saturday to allow a free afternoon for golf, shopping or maybe a massage at the resort spa. Group dinners are planned for both Friday and Saturday evenings. Friday we will dine at the hotel and on Saturday after cocktails at Bob Gardner’s Gallery we’ll have dinner at a popular Santa Fe restaurant.

Attendees should plan to arrive the evening of October 25 as the meeting is scheduled to kick off promptly at 8 A.M. Friday, October 26TH
