MASTER OF SCIENCE IN MANAGEMENT (MSM)

Curriculum
One of the primary attractions for many of our students has been the overall balance a Cox School of Business education provides. The Cox graduate understands that success is a moving target, and that quick thinking and flexibility are the keys to success.
The MSM curriculum is designed to give you a fundamental understanding of business, along with the budgeting, management, marketing, financial, and strategic planning tools you need to distinguish yourself from your peers. The program lasts 10 ½ months and comprises 30 credit hours of coursework. Over five modules, you will complete 15 courses. Each course earns two credit hours over eight weeks, with each class meeting one evening a week and on Saturday morning from 9:00am-11:50am and 1:10pm-4:30pm. All MSM students complete the following sequence of courses together.
Much of the coursework will take place working within small study groups to identify and solve problems that often mirror real-world challenges. Information learned can be applied immediately to enable you to function within the rapidly changing business landscape.
