Career Services for MSA's

The SMU Cox BBA Career Services Office provides MSA students with career and job search assistance. We encourage you to seek the assistance of the Cox career counselors when you begin your MSA program. You can meet with a counselor by scheduling an appointment in advance or by signing up during drop-in hours when a counselor is on duty.

BBA Career Services offers the following services:

• Career and job-search preparation, including individual sessions and mock interview.
• Career and job-search workshops, including career panels, interviewing, and résumé writing.
• Resources such as occupational and salary information, job banks, and company databases.
• Special events such as career fairs, dining etiquette program, and employer information sessions.

Appointments

You can schedule appointments from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday.

Drop-In Hours

A career counselor is on duty from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm, Monday - Thursday. We recommend that you come by in the morning to secure a same-day, 30-minute afternoon appointment.

Location

BBA Career Services is located in 254 Maguire, in the Cox “quad” on the SMU campus. Office hours are 8:30 am -5:00 pm, Monday - Friday.
