I will apply for law school immediately after college; do I apply to the MBA program at the same time to be part of the JD/MBA program? Yes, you can apply to both the JD and MBA programs at the same time. You will follow the regular application process for each school (including both the LSAT and GMAT exams) and receive admissions decisions from each school independently. If admitted to both, you will spend 4 total years on campus: year 1 in the JD program, year 2 in the MBA program and years 3/4 finishing required credit hours in both schools.

I am applying to the MA/MBA program; is the application process the same as the full-time MBA application process? All MA/MBA applicants will submit the regular MBA application. However, rather than creating their own topic for required essay #2 they have a specific topic to address. The topic is: Why have you decided to pursue a graduate program in arts administration? How will an arts management education assist you in reaching your goals? In your answers, please indicate the specific reasons you chose to apply to SMU and describe your area of arts interest. In addition, describe your most significant accomplishments and why they are important to you. (1-2 pages typed, double-spaced)
