FULL TIME MBA

Accelerated Admission for College Seniors

The Cox School of Business is offering an opportunity for college seniors to apply and defer admission to the MBA program. As an admitted candidate, you will begin your professional career with the opportunity to enter the Cox MBA program after you have gained a minimum of twenty-four months of post-undergraduate work experience. The Cox MBA Admissions Team will stay in contact with you, providing you with program developments, Cox School news, and invitations to various on-campus events. In turn, you will provide the Cox School with an updated resume listing promotions, accomplishments, and leadership activities as you gain the required twenty-four months of professional work experience.

Admission Requirements
Applicants are required to complete the regular admission process. Undergraduate transcripts must reflect grades for all semesters completed prior to their final semester. If admitted, you will be required to submit a final official transcript for degree verification and final calculation of your cumulative undergraduate G.P.A. You are encouraged to emphasize internships, community service, and leadership activities in your application.

Admission Offer, Enrollment, and Scholarship Commitment
If admitted, you will be offered deferred conditional admission, with the stipulation that you must gain at least two years (twenty-four months) of full-time, professional work experience prior to enrollment.

You will notify the Cox MBA Admissions Office when you anticipate completing the work experience requirement and are ready to enroll. You must provide an updated copy of your resume and will be interviewed to ensure your personal and professional goals are still an appropriate match with the Cox School of Business. You can request a review of your application for scholarship consideration at this time.

The Cox MBA Admissions Office must be notified no later than May 1 for enrollment the following August; seats cannot be guaranteed after this date each year. Candidates will receive enrollment information and be expected to pay the program deposit required of all students in the next entering class. Candidates must enroll in the Cox MBA program within five years of the admission offer. An expiration date will be listed on the admission letter.

Accelerated Admission applicants are eligible for merit scholarship consideration. Scholarships are considered during the application review process. If qualified, you will receive a scholarship commitment subject to review when you enroll in the Cox MBA program.

When to Apply and Deadlines
Applicants should apply during the last semester of their senior year. The application deadline for accelerated admission is June 1, applications will be accepted after this date but space and scholarships may be limited.
