International Exchange Program
Applicant Criteria and Process
SMU's exchange agreements are typically for two students per location; therefore, we must assign these spots on a competitive basis. Students must:
- Have a minimum 3.2 GPA at the end of your first year
- Submit program application by deadline
- Interview with the program director
- Fulfill the Cox Community Partners requirement (Spring semester only)
Registration for the 2006–2007 Global Exchange Programs is:
- Spring 2007 — October 1 - 15, 2006
- Fall 2008 — April 1 - 11, 2007
You may email your application to Courtney Elliott, fax it to 214-768-3117, or deliver it to the MBA Global Programs office in the Collins Executive Education Center. There is an October registration for students who want to study abroad in the Spring; however, due to limited space at each partner school, it is recommended that students interested in participating in either semester register early.

The MBA Global Programs Department reserves the right to decline anyone whose behavior at Cox indicates they might jeopardize our exchange relationship and thus prevent future Cox MBA students from going on exchange to a particular school.
