Marketing Concentrations

Students may choose to complete a general Marketing Concentration or specialize further in Marketing Consulting or Product and Brand Management specializations.
The Marketing Concentration curriculum includes required courses in Managerial Accounting and Advanced Marketing Management. Additional elective courses include: Retail Behavior and Sales Promotion, Analytic Methods for New Product Development, Analytic Methods for Understanding What Customers Value, Consumer Behavior
Consumer Product and Brand Management, Customer Satisfaction and Retention, Global Marketing Management, Marketing Communications Management, Marketing Implementation and Control, Marketing Research, Marketing Services, Marketing Strategy, Hispanic Marketing, Management of the Modern Sales Force, Database Marketing
The Marketing Consulting specialization includes the general concentration required courses and a specific elective group of courses from the list above. In addition, students may select these additional courses: Game Theory for Business Managers, Introduction to E-Business, and Technologies for Data Mining and Personalization.
The Product and Brand Management specialization includes the general concentration required courses in addition to Consumer Product and Brand Management. Students select from a specific group of courses from the general list of electives in Marketing.

Career opportunities for Marketing concentration graduates include position titles such as Strategic Analyst, Project Manager, Strategic Marketing Manager, Marketing Manager, Account Planner, Manager of Business Development, Product Portfolio Manager, Associate Brand Manager, and Programmer/Risk Analyst.
