The Maguire Energy Instituteencourages the study of policy, marketing and management issues related to oil, natural gas and electricity. The Institute conducts seminars and training programs focusing on the business, economic, and managerial aspects of the energy industry; hosts conferences to facilitate the exchange of ideas and information among educators, practitioners, media, and government officials; and provides material for students and teachers to foster a better understanding of the role of the energy industry in the world economy.
