Business Information Center
Our mission is to provide the SMU community with business information regardless of format, support the integration of information and technology into the curriculum and act as a center for research and development for state-of-the-art information technology applications in the business education field.
Selection of information resources is tailored to teaching curricula with input from faculty and research staff. Information literacy is integrated into teaching units and standalone tutorials matched to instructional strategies.
Resources of the Business Information Center are developed in partnership with the University Central Library. Shared resources with the Central Library include the online catalog and a number of databases. The Cox School contribution along with campus resources and elements of the state TexShare consortium provide a robust electronic environment for student research.
