Maps & Directions

SMU is located about 5 miles north of downtown Dallas in University Park, between North Central Expressway and Hillcrest Avenue, and Mockingbird Lane and Daniel Avenue.

Please note the specific parking directions that follow the general directions below. For exact directions to SMU, you may wish to use an online map service, such as MapQuest or Lycos, and enter the exact address for Moody Parking Garage(Airline Rd. at SMU Blvd., Dallas TX 75205) or Meadows Parking Garage (5900 Bishop Blvd., Dallas TX 75205).

General directions to SMU:

From U.S. 75 (North Central Expressway)

Traveling from the north, exit SMU Boulevard or Mockingbird Lane and proceed west (right) to Airline Road.
Traveling from the south, exit Mockingbird Lane or SMU Boulevard and proceed west (left) to Airline Road.

From Hillcrest Avenue:

Traveling from the north, turn east (left) on Daniel Avenue, then south (right) on Airline Road. At McFarlin Boulevard, turn east (left), then turn south on Airline Road.
Traveling from the south, turn east (right) on Mockingbird Lane and north (left) on Airline Road.

From Dallas North Tollway:

Exit Mockingbird Lane and proceed east past Hillcrest Avenue to Airline Road.

From Denton:

Go south on I-35 E to I-635 (LBJ Freeway) and east to U.S. 75 (Central Expressway). Go south on Central Expressway to the Mockingbird Lane exit. Turn west on Mockingbird Lane and go to Airline Road.

From Waco:

Go north on I-35 to I-30 East in downtown Dallas and east to U.S. 75 (Central Expressway). Go north on U.S. 75 (sign indicates "Sherman"). Exit at Mockingbird Lane and go west to Airline Road.

From Interstate 30:

Go north on U.S. 75 (Central Expressway) to the Mockingbird Lane exit. Turn west on Mockingbird Lane and go to Airline Road.

From the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport:

Take the North Exit from the airport to I-635 (LBJ Freeway). Go east on I-635 to the Dallas North Tollway. Go south on the Tollway and exit at Mockingbird Lane. Proceed east past Hillcrest Avenue to Airline Road.

From Love Field Airport:

Exit from the airport to Mockingbird Lane. Go east on Mockingbird Lane to Airline Road.
