•Wayne Shaw, the Helmut Sohmen Distinguished Professor of Corporate Governance and chair of the KPMG Institute for Corporate Governance, is an expert in mergers & acquisitions, financial disclosure and reporting, capital formation, and IPOs and taxation. He is referenced frequently in stories concerning accounting principals and financial reporting, including Sarbanes Oxley, trends in corporate governance, and initial public offerings. •Jody Magliolo, chair of the Accounting Department, specializes in accounting and regulation of financial institutions. He has most recently been a resource to the media on accounting issues and financial reporting. His current research focuses on the interaction of financial accounting and regulatory issues in banks and insurance companies. •Michael van Breda is an accounting professor, with expertise in disclosure and corporate trust issues. •Wendy Wilson, assistant professor of accounting, is an expert in general accounting issues, and can speak specifically to international accounting rules and regulations, as her research focuses on the accounting methods of foreign firms cross-listed on American exchanges.
