PRESENTING WITH POWER AND INFLUENCE PART 1 & 2  - LORRI ALLEN

Course Description:

Do people nod with agreement when you speak -- or just nod off? Do your audiences see you persuade with power – or see your knees knock with nerves? Does your delivery dazzle -- or dull? Are you articulate or just OK? In this special two-part session, you will polish your presentation skills with feedback from a veteran professional speaker. You will be videotaped so that you can see and hear your strengths and weaknesses for yourself. Walk out of this class with practical suggestions you can integrate into your presentations immediately!

Objectives:

• Successfully handle pre-speech jitters
• Masterfully deliver with PowerPoint
• Brilliantly add techniques to keep your audience alert
• Powerfully incorporate persuasive words to open and close
• Skillfully integrate stories to make points and touch hearts
• Effectively improve your gestures, movement, facial expressions and vocal variety.

Note: There is homework for this class. Please come prepared each time to deliver a three-minute business presentation. You do not have to incorporate PowerPoint, but a computer, screen and projector will be available should you choose to use them.
