CONFLICT MANAGEMENT WITH TOMMY DANIEL

Course Description: This seminar explores the role of interpersonal conflict and competition as it relates to organizational performance. A simulation is used to illustrate the dynamics of workplace conflict and the impact various approaches to conflict management have on performance. Participants explore five distinct strategies of conflict management and complete the Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument to assess their personal comfort levels with the various strategies.

Objectives:

  • Experience a simulation illustrating the importance of effective conflict management skills.
  • Explore five distinct styles for effectively dealing with others in conflict situations.
  • Receive feedback regarding personal conflict management preferences.
