FAQ

1. What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa and Master Card. We also have the ability to invoice your company. Payment by check should be made payable to: SMU Executive Development. Wire transfer is also available.
For specific payment policies, please check the application page for the seminar located under Our Programs.

2. What happens if I need to cancel or send a substitute?

Participants may send a substitute without a penalty. You may also transfer to the next session of the course for a small fee determined by type of course. Cancellation penalties vary by program. For specifics on each program, the cancellation policy can be found on the application. Applications are available for each seminar under Our Programs.

3. Do you have driving directions & maps to the SMU main campus and/or SMU-in-Legacy campus?

We provide these maps with your confirmation packet. However, if you need another set or have additional questions please see the Plan Your Visit section on the navigation barat the top of thepage.

4. Once on campus, where will I find available parking?

We have two garages available with designated guest parking.

5. Can you provide information about local hotels, airports, shuttles, taxis and additional Dallas specifics?

6.What is the best way to see everything you offer?

Go to the Our Programs section of the website and you will find a complete listing of our programs.

7. What are the registration deadlines?

We request applications be submitted at least two weeks prior to the class start. However, for most classes, if the class is not sold out, we are able to process your application up to a day before class starts. If a class is sold out, you may be placed on a Waiting List. You will be contacted if an opening occurs, or you may be enrolled in the next available session. Please call if you have specific concerns. See Contact Us.

8. Do you offer group discount or special rates?

For our two and three day courses we offer a 10% discount to companies sending three or more employees to the same session of the same seminar. Applications must be received together to obtain the discount. For the evening series, the first participant would be enrolled at full price. Then we offer a $200 discount for each additional registrant from the same company, same seminar and same session. Please notify us if you register additional people for the same class.

9. What time does my class start each day?

The start times for our seminars varies. Please check your program schedule or contact us for additional information. See Contact Us.

10. Where is my classroom?

All seminars are held at the main campus in Dallas or at the SMU-In-Legacy campus in Plano. Please check your registration materials for the classroom numbers. Once at the Cox Business School on the main campus, there will be signs directing you to your classroom.
