Michael R. Vetsuypens Ph.D.
Mike Vetsuypens holds a Master's and a Ph.D. degree in Business Administration from the University of Rochester and was selected as a Fulbright Fellow during his graduate work. His research has been published in the leading finance journals and has been presented in numerous professional finance conferences.
He is the academic director of SMU Executive Education’s seminar for senior executives in the oil and gas industry and actively involved in various other programs including the Financial Planning and Control Seminar for Oil & Gas Executives, the Seminar for Senior Executives in the Oil and Gas Industry, in-house finance seminars for Saudi Aramco, Meridian Oil Company, EDS, Phillips Petroleum, Sabre, the Ehle Institute (Osaka, Japan), the French Petroleum Institute (Paris, France), and others. He is the recipient of the 1991 Edwin L. Cox School of Business Excellence in Research Award.
