CENTER FOR REAL ESTATE AND LAND USE ECONOMICS

The Center for Research in Real Estate and Land Use Economics

The Center was created in 1984 as an entity focusing on major issues in the real estate industry.  The Center sponsors a Conference during the Fall and Spring Semester each dealing with a topic of current interest to industry professionals and students.  In addition, it recognizes scholastic achievements of both Undergraduate and MBA students by awarding scholarships based on merit.  It also provides workshops for students desiring to deepen their exposure to current technologies used in the industry.  The Center also acts as a conduit for research which it conducts through the Costa Institute of Real Estate Finance and the Folsom Institute for Development and Land Use Policy.
