ENTREPRENEURSHIP AT THE CARUTH INSTITUTE

Starting and building your own business is one of the most common ways of creating financial wealth and personal freedom.
Historically many individuals felt that loyalty and dedication to a large company provided lifetime employment and financial security. In this world of downsizing, reengineering and rapid change, these individuals are being jolted by the realization that in some industries this belief is no longer valid. Employees who are tired of this uncertainty and anxiety are turning enmasse to entrepreneurship in an effort to gain control of their own destiny.
In contrast, other individuals have dreamed all along of starting and building their own business. These individuals frequently have a "wonderful idea" but recognize they lack the business "know how" to avoid the high failure rates prevalent among new businesses.
This course builds a strong foundation for understanding the critical skills and knowledge necessary to start or expand a business of your own. It is offered three times per year in a "one night per week" for eight weeks format
