Welcome from the Director
The recently established EnCap Investments & LCM Group Alternative Asset Management Center at the Cox School of Business will put Southern Methodist University at the forefront of training in the most significant growth area in the investment field today. There are over two hundred alternative investment firms in the DFW metroplex. The Alternative Asset Management program will make Cox the top provider of trained students necessary for these local firms as well as other growing firms throughout the United States and the world.
Cox has one of the oldest and largest student managed portfolios in the country and has long been recognized for its investment training. The Alternative Asset Management program is another step in making Cox one of the top investment programs in the country.
