Business Experience
Thackeray Partners
Co-founded in January of 2005. Thackeray is a Dallas based real estate private equity fund which invests in real estate nationally. Thackeray’s first fund has equity capital commitments of $232 million from approximately 35 partners, 12 of which are University Endowments and other Foundations. Fund I is fully committed and Thackeray’s second fund has equity capital commitments of $295 million.
Trammell Crow Company and Crow Holdings
Served in various roles in the Crow organization from May of 1985 through November of 2004. Positions at Trammell Crow Company included:
- Chief Financial Officer for the Office Building Division and Texas Region during the late 1980’s and early 1990’s
- Partner in the firm in the late 1980’s
- Head of the debt restructuring and asset management area in the early 90’s
- Pre-IPO Board of Directors
Positions with Crow Holdings and it predecessor entities included:
- Head of the real estate area
- Final position at Crow Holdings was Chief Executive Officer for the business which included oversight of all of Crow Holding’s diversified investments
