Suzanne B. Shu Ph.D.

Professor Shu holds a PhD in Behavioral Science from the University of Chicago, where her coursework focused on judgment and decision making, marketing, and behavioral economics. She also holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and a BSEE and M'Eng in electrical engineering from Cornell University. Her research interests include issues in consumer self-control, including intertemporal choice and delayed consumption of indulgences. She also has ongoing research in the areas of decision under uncertainty, financial decision making, and consumer product valuation and choice.
