Research Interest: Her main research interest is on institutional contingency of business strategies. In particular how countries’ institutional environments affect firms’ strategies in managing business-to-business relationships, business-to-government relationships, and in making foreign direct investments. For example, her research on how firms dealing with information asymmetry when making international acquisitions in countries with low financial transparency was selected in the Best Paper Proceedings of Academy of Management.
