Professor Natalia Reisel joined the Cox School of Business in 2005. She holds a PhD in Finance from Rutgers University , where she won the Dean’s Outstanding Dissertation Award. Her research interests are in the area of corporate finance with a focus on debt security design, corporate restructuring and strategic alliances. She published papers in Review of Financial Studies and Financial Management journals. She has presented research papers at major finance conferences and several universities. Her paper on bond ratings won the Financial Management Association Best Paper Award in the area of Fixed Income Research in 2005. Her paper on Yankee bonds won the Financial Management Association Best Paper Award in the area of International Finance in 2009. She teaches the Fixed Income and Finance Theory and Practice courses at the graduate level.
