Mark Peterson
Dr. Peterson has a keen interest in international marketing and has taught the Global Marketing Management course at the Cox School of Business twice. Dr. Mark Peterson graduated from Georgia Tech with a PhD in Marketing. He spent two years in the marketing research industry in the US. He has done consulting work for Fortune 500 companies, such as Lowe’s, Ford Motor Co. and TXU. His Prentice-Hall textbook Basic Marketing Research was recently published in Chinese. Dr. Peterson has enjoyed teaching EMBA students in Beijing and Shanghai which he has done multiple times since 2005. He was a Fulbright scholar in Turkey in 2006. While in Turkey, Dr. Peterson was invited by the US State Department to give talks on the topic of venture creation in and around Damascus, Syria in June 2006. He looks forward to returning to the Middle East in May 2008.
