Current Research
My broad research interests are in the areas of leadership and teams.  At the core of my current work is the desire to understand relationships between internal team leadership, team performance, team motivation, and individual outcomes.  My research primarily focuses on shared leadership, informal leadership roles within teams, and internal team goal alignment.  I am also interested in external team leadership and coaching, the role of leadership and teams in innovation, and cross-cultural issues concerning teams and leadership.
