A licensed attorney and full-time faculty member of SMU’s Cox School of Business, Mrs. Kincaid instructs MBA and BBA business law courses, including the innovative MBA module Essential Law for the Entrepreneur.  Recent student recognition includes the Rotunda Outstanding Teaching Award, the Willis M. Tate Award, and identification as a Cox School Outstanding Instructor for eleven consecutive years.  She served as a Visiting Professor of Law at Marie Curie Skladowska University in Poland and lectured to EMBA students at the Budapest University of Economics and Technology.   Mrs. Kincaid has also served as the faculty representative to the Willis M. Tate Lecture Series Board of Directors and sponsors several student organizations.  She helped found the Texas General Counsel Forum and now serves as Academic Director of the Forum’s Cox School Institute for Leadership in the Law and on the Dallas-Fort Worth board of directors.  She is a member of the advisory board and faculty of SMU-in-Taos and has initiated a Cox School BBA Internship at Taos scheduled for its third year of implementation in June, 2010.

In the community, Mrs. Kincaid serves on the board of directors of the Greater Dallas Youth Orchestras, having accompanied those students on performance tours of England, Scotland, Germany, and the Czech Republic.   She is a communicant of the Church of the Incarnation and member of the Junior League of Dallas.  A native of Kansas City, Mrs. Kincaid resides in Highland Park with her husband, Sam, a Cox School graduate with Bank of America Community Development.  Their son, William, is a 2009 graduate of Hampden-Sydney College and in graduate business studies at Wake Forest University.  Their son, Thomas, a former SMU student body president and 2009 graduate of Duke Divinity School, serves on the clergy for the Church of the Incarnation in Dallas.
