  Course Description:  
   
 
This course provides students with important skills needed to develop others through effective coaching and enhance their own leadership in the process.  By developing an in-depth understanding of fundamental coaching concepts, strategies, and tools, students will be able to help those working for and with them to develop new capabilities, build skills to solve their own problems, and achieve professional growth.  The course combines a significant experiential component along with readings and lecturettes.  We will examine the measurable impact of a leader and the positive business results of a coach-approach to leadership.  We will also examine the skills required to coach in a virtual world.  Prerequisite:  Organizational Behavior
