  Course Description:  
   
 
This course focuses on techniques for active portfolio management and security selection. Topics include: tools and techniques for valuing individual securities; popular approaches to security selection such as growth versus value; and sector and industry analysis. Models to be examined include fundamental methods based on discounted dividends and cash flows and selected technical measures. The course will emphasize contemporary real-world applications.
