  Course Description:  
   
 
This course examines recent events and current issues impacting the auditing and assurance profession.  Recent legislation has resulted in significant changes to the sturcture and responsibilities of audit firms in the United States.  This course explores these issues through the perspective of the audit firm, and uses case material to address the impact of various legislative and regulatory changes.  Prerequisite: Auditing I.
