The widespread use of computer-based systems and electronic networks for business processes raises a number of critical social, legal and ethical issues. Recent legislation on intellectual property protection, consumer privacy and corporate governance have further heightened the significance and relevance of these issues. The course addresses these issues through a combination of lectures, cases, and projects. (This course is offered on an irregular basis.)
