  Course Description:  
   
 

A survey of real estate investments. Includes the underlying determinants of supply and demand for various property types, leases, pro forma statements of cash flows, measurement of rates of return and approaches to valuation. Serves as the prerequi­site course for Real Estate Analysis and Strategy (6212), Real Estate Finance and Development (6213), and Real Estate Transactions (6215). Prerequisite: Managerial Finance.
