This course examines one of the key strategies required of any entrepreneurial venture, how the founders and the investors realize the appreciated value of their contributions to the business.  The strategies and methodologies for each of the major types of exit transactions are covered in depth in this course.  The types of transactions covered are Leveraged Buyouts (LBO's), the Sale of the business, the use of an Initial Public Offering (IPO), the Recapitalization of the firm and the Liquidation of the business.  Prerequisite: None
