SMU Cox to Offer Executive Education to Energy Professionals Through the American Petroleum Institute
Dallas (SMU) – The SMU Cox School of Business is pleased to announce an agreement with the American Petroleum Institute (API) to develop and deliver its Executive Education curriculum and other customized education-related services to petroleum and natural gas industry professionals worldwide.
In conjunction with API through API University, a trusted source for continuing education for the oil and gas professional, SMU Cox will make available a variety of leadership and management programs to API members and clients either at their location or at the new state-of-the-art James M. Collins Executive Education Center on the SMU campus.
“The SMU Cox School of Business, in association with the Maguire Energy Institute, provides a variety of management education programs tailored for the oil and gas industry,” said Frank R. Lloyd, Ph.D., associate dean of Executive Education. “We are excited about the opportunity to work with API because it enables us to better serve the oil and gas industry we have been serving for a quarter century. Our relationship with API and its members will also allow us to maintain our leading-edge knowledge of the industry.”
