Clarence P. Cazalot, Jr. presents "Innovative Strategies To Create Value" at the Cox School's Business Leaders Spotlight Series. As president of Marathon Oil Company and vice chairman of USX Corporation, Cazalot oversees one of the Top 10 U.S.-based oil companies in terms of production volumes. Marathon Oil generates worldwide natural gas sales over one billion cubic feet a day and operates seven refineries accounting for approximately 6 percent of total U.S. refining capacity. Marathon Ashland is the nation's fourth-largest refiner, with 935,000 barrels-per-day of crude-oil capacity, and a leading pipeline owner and operator, with approximately 7,500 miles of owned or leased pipelines.
