Ebby Halliday and Mary Frances Burleson will serve as co-presenters for the Business Leaders Spotlight Series. In 1945, Halliday, founder and chairman of Ebby Halliday, REALTORS®, created a business whose history is unique to Dallas. Since its founding, Ebby Halliday, REALTORS® has grown into one of the nation's largest independently owned residential real estate firms with 26 offices, more than 1,000 sales associates, and an annual volume of $3.7 billion. In 2000, Halliday was named by Realtor Magazine as one of the country's 25 most influential people in real estate.
Burleson joined the real estate company in 1958. During her career with Ebby Halliday, REALTORS®, she has been involved in all areas of the firm, from sales to management to vice president and then company president in 1989. She was named statewide "Realtor of the Year" for 1999 by the Texas Association of Realtors. Burleson is currently chairman of the board of the Texas Association of Realtors.

The Bank of Texas Business Leaders Spotlight Series brings business leaders from major corporations to the community to share their personal and corporate strategies for success. Each event is preceded with a reception offering guests opportunities for networking with the speaker, other members of the audience, and Cox faculty and staff.
